Wheat exports in the first months of 2018/19 cycle reached the 2nd highest value in the last 30 years. In February, wheat price decreased considerably in Argentina following the lower logistical pressure of the cereal for the rest of the year.
Soybean crushing in Argentina fell by 12% in 2018 but soybean oil and meal continued to lead the country's exports. On the other hand, corn crushing grew underpinned by ethanol industry.
